The Kingdom of God
The Kingdom of God is one of the central themes of the New Covenant. After John was taken into custody, "Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the Good News of God's Kingdom" (Mark 1:14). He said it was the reason He had been sent (Luke 4:43), and He sent His disciples out "to preach God's Kingdom and to heal the sick" (Luke 9:2). Because it is so closely tied to the Good Message, this teaching forms a foundation for knowing and experiencing Yahweh. This section looks at what God's Kingdom is and how we take part in it. "Entering the Kingdom" shows that God's Kingdom is here to be entered right now, wherever you are. "A Place of Righteousness" explains that the Kingdom is a place of true righteousness, not pretense or the appearance of it. If you have wondered what Jesus meant when He spoke of the Kingdom, or how it touches your life today, these studies are a good place to start.
