Upon studying the Name of God, Yahweh, we see how simple yet profound the Truth contained inside It is. God is the Source of Existence, the Ground of Being; He is our Father, and we are His offspring.
that they should seek the Lord, if perhaps they might reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. 'For in him we live, and move, and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'For we are also his offspring.' (Acts 17:27, 28)
The moment we lose sight of this plain fact, and try to go our own separate way, we become dead in sin. No longer do we make conscious the fact that without Him we are nothing; no longer do we remember Him in all things we endeavor to do. We have replaced Him with His creation, relying on temporal things which pass away—including our own selves—as our God.
Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold, or silver, or stone, engraved by art and design of man. The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent, (Acts 17:29, 30)
Pride, which is the root of this, is really nothing more than denial of reality. Once we accept that we are not our own, salvation is soon to follow.
Truly, your belief or unbelief does not change Absolute Truth, but it very well may affect your personal reality.
Believe now, that Yahweh is the One; the Creator; the Source; the Beginning. Make it real in your personal experience, and take one step toward living with Him every moment of your existence.
Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Oh fear Yahweh, you his saints, for there is no lack with those who fear him. (Psalms 34:8, 9)
"You are my witnesses," says Yahweh, "With my servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed, neither will there be after me. I myself am Yahweh; and besides me there is no savior. (Isaiah 43:10, 11)
Join the few that have made this profound Truth personal, and know the joy from doing so!
The ransomed of Yahweh shall return, and come with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy shall be on their heads: they shall obtain gladness and joy; [and] sorrow and sighing shall flee away. (Isaiah 51:11)
Made in His Image
Several people have noticed a peculiar image, which is created by rearranging the modern Hebrew letters of the Name of God, in a vertical fashion. Indeed, this could be an allusion to the fact that all humankind is created in the image of Elohim (the fullness of God).
God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26, 27)
Notice how the references to both God and man switch between singular and plural.
"God said, 'let us make man...'"
"In God's image he (God) created him (man)."
"Male and female he (God) created them (man, or more specifically, male and female)."
And, in each of these instances, the full word Elohim is used, which is strictly a plural world in Hebrew, although it most often used with singular-form verbs.
We, humankind, as male and female, reflect the diversity within God, for we are made in His image.
Therefore, it is fitting that the Name of God, which means, "He Who Causes To Become," portrays the human-form, so that by our very existence we show the great Creator-nature of God.
As you read this site, you will hopefully come to know Yahweh more fully.
But all of this continuing knowledge is useless unless and until you come into union with Him. I use the word union because it is truly a marriage. It is that deep connection we all seek, for which we most often look in other people. However, the truth is that our hearts will only be fulfilled when we enter that union in fullness with the One Who made us.
This is the grace of God, that He has not stayed distant for us only to worship as Creator. But He has come unto us, even become one of us—in His Son, ChristJesus—in order to share an intimate union with us. He desires such closeness that it truly will envelope our entire life, transforming us into something new and wonderful.
You may have already entered this union with Him and only seek to know Him better through reading here. But if you have not, as you do read, let this Gospel sink into your heart as you read it now.
God loves you, and has cast your sins into the sea. He has sent His only Son as the Savior of the world—that includes you.
That Son, JesusChrist, was born as a man through a virgin who had given her life to Yahweh; He lived without sin, reflected the glory of His Father, God, in all His words and deeds, and was persecuted even unto death because of it.
His death upon a cross was the powerful explosion that separated you from your life of death. It remains for you, now, to enter into that death with Him. As you die to the one you are now, a person separated from God from your many sins, you will be born anew, with a nature predisposed to live rightly. This gift is free to you, with nothing you can do to earn it. It is the mercy of God to offer it to you, as He loves you so much! All you must do is receive it by trusting Him to have delivered you. Simply place your life in His hands and embrace the freedom that came through that death on the cross.
The Gospel is that Jesus did not remain dead, but rose again on the third day after His crucifixion! Death could not hold Him, as He was without sin. And so death will not be able to hold you, as you identify with Him fully through your trust in Him. Let go of yourself and confess Him as Lord of your life. The power of His death and resurrection will work in you all that your Creator has destined for you. You will truly enter a new life and experience that intimate union you have been seeking all of your life.
So ponder these words as you read here of this great God—Yahweh—and all that He has revealed to His creation. Let His Spirit testify to your heart that these words are true, that God is Love, and that He sent His Son so that you might receive the life that is unbound by time and space. As you feel that witness in your heart, simply believe and receive what He is offering to you, even now, and begin your new life as a child of God.
